Pretty picture post!
The pink travel cup is one I bought years ago when doing a lot of mobile event catering. I needed to be able to drink coffee in a moving van. Most of the people I travelled with were male. Hence, a pink cup was an un-borrowed cup. ;) I have a purple one around somewhere too - they seem to alternate which one is findable. A travel cup is a useful thing when you walk to work - 50 mins either way, using one or the other journey for caffiene consumption is pretty valuable multitasking.
The orange knitting is part of a blanket - I am likely to be living somewhere considerably colder this autumn, so making these is taking up a fair few of my coffee breaks right now! The idea is to make a number of extra-long/wide scarf-like strips and sew them together (either horizontally or vertically) into stripey blankets. For now I am using up my collected stash of coloured acrylic, but I may be tempted to buy some more for the sake of rational colour-coordinating!
